The all-new Nissan 370Z, which marks the first full redesign since it reintroduction in 2003, was set to debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show this week. However, the public got its first chance to scope out the new Z in Los Angeles thanks to Edmunds.com.

The event was used not only to draw those who wanted to get a glimpse of the all-new Z, but was also devised to be a gathering for Z enthusiasts and owners. With tons of Z’s from every generation, the even helps over this past weekend was fun time for all who simply love the iconic sports car. Even Nissan enthusiasts visiting Nissan Saint Louis are looking forward to the release of the new Z are even putting in request for the sports car already.

With the intense interest surrounding the new 370Z, it’s expected to receive quite a crowd when it official unveiled to the world at the LA auto show this week. The Nissan GT-R has been released to significant hype by the media and die hard Nissan performance enthusiasts. And while the GT-R finally hits the streets of the US, the Z is also getting some attention.

While the upcoming Nissan 370Z isn’t due for a short while yet, the new Z will reportedly be featuring the same seven speed dual clutch transmission that is currently found in the GT-R. Combining increased displacements with a short throw seven speed Nissan Altima MA says it should help the Z become a formidable competitor to the likes of the recently designed Audi TT, and even the Mitsubishi Evo and a the Subaru STI.

The next generation Nissan 370Z will be getting the 3.7 liter V6 that is found in the G37, with output expected to be around 330 horsepower. Although some aspects of the currently Z’s styling is expected to remain, the updated version will be wider and lighter, helping to improve the performance of this already fun-to-drive vehicle.

Many performance enthusiasts have faulted the current Z for its weight. Luckily, the new version will shave off a few pounds and is expected to be an even more nimble handler. In addition, Nissan Dealers Boston says that with the help of components from the GT-R, the Nissan 370Z is going to be able to give other vehicles in its class a run for the money.

With the addition for the Nissan Rogue, it becomes Nissan’s fifth sport utility vehicle in its lineup. Although Nissan already has plenty of SUVs to offer SUV-loving consumers, the Rogue is the company tool to enter a new segment which had not previously been it; the compact crossover SUV market.

Among the crowded compact suv market, the Nissan Rogue will to go head to head with some of the most popular vehicles on the market, including the all-new Honda CR-V and also the Toyota Rav4. Previously, the smallest suv Nissan has offered has been the Xterra, however the vehicle is more mid-sized and is rugged truck-based vehicle that likely wouldn’t not be able to sway buyers away from the like of Honda and Toyota’s offerings.

Although the Nissan Rogue’s name may conjure up images of toughness, the vehicle is actually quite tame. It's interesting to see that Nissan is putting plenty of effort into their trucks and SUVs. While other automaker are running scared to focus attention on such vehicles amid rapidly changing consumer demand, Nissan is hoping to maintain the demand for these models.

" Nashville, Tenn. - Nissan North America, Inc. today revealed details of the 2009 Xterra sport utility vehicle and 2009 Frontier mid-size pickup, both of which receive numerous refinements for the new model year. 

Both vehicles are scheduled to arrive at Nissan dealerships nationwide in mid-July 2008.

The 2009 Nissan Xterra, created as tough, essential gear for active outdoor enthusiasts, features a new front end appearance, new wheel designs, new Roof-Mounted Off-Road Lights built into the roof rack air dam (Xterra Off-Road models only), new seat materials and colors and new standard roof-mounted curtain side-impact supplemental air bags with rollover sensor for front and rear-seat outboard occupant head protection.

For a limited time, beginning at the 2009 Xterra’s sales launch in July, the content of the Technology Package – including an advanced Rockford Fosgate® audio system, XM® Satellite Radio (XM® subscription required, sold separately, automatic transmission models only), Bluetooth® Hands-free Phone System, steering wheel audio controls and auxiliary input jack – will be provided at no charge with every 2009 Xterra S, Off-Road or SE.

The 2009 Nissan Frontier, a no-compromise pickup forged with premium hardware, extraordinary power and off-road athleticism, continues to be a leader in the mid-size truck segment.  Improving its already impressive packaging, the 2009 Frontier gets updated with a new front fascia, grille and headlight design and new 16-inch and 18-inch wheels.  Additionally, a new PRO-4X off-road model is added, along with new Frontier Crew Cab LE/PRO-4X Value Truck Packages (VTP) that offer an array of popular optional equipment at a greater value than if purchased separately.  Other enhancements include a new center radio and HVAC stack (V6 models), new seat cloth for LE models and two new exterior colors – Red Brick and Navy Blue.

The 2009 Nissan Frontier continues to offer an unmatched level of on- and off- road performance with the use of a 4.0-liter DOHC V6 engine with best-in-segment horsepower (261 horsepower), torque (281 lb-ft), towing and payload specifications.  With its strong performance, the Frontier is a fitting truck for work or play.  An advanced 2.5-liter DOHC inline 4-cylinder engine, with 152 horsepower and 171 lb-ft torque, is also available on the base Frontier King Cab 4x2 model.

The new Frontier PRO-4X features Bilstein® off-road high-pressure shock absorbers, additional skid plates on the oil pan and transfer case, an electronic rear differential locker, 2- or 4-wheel limited-slip (ABLS) and unique machine-finished 16-inch aluminum-alloy off-road wheels with large BFGoodrich P265/75R16 Rugged Trail tires.  Inside, the PRO-4X receives styling cues that differentiate it from the rest of the Frontier lineup including leather-appointed red-stitched shifter knob (M/T only) and steering wheel, chrome accent ring around the white-faced meter gauges and trip computer.

2009 Nissan Xterra Image

Nissan has introduced updated versions of the Nissan Xterra and the Nissan Frontier. After about four years on the market with few changes, the new Nissan midsize truck and SUV will have a much deserved infusion of freshness.

The Xterra receives an updated front grille, has all new wheel styles available, and even has off-road lighting available that is integrated within the Xterra’s prominent roof rack. In addition to these features, the Xterra also receives other features that should be a hit with Nissan Boston MA shoppers including new materials for its seats, and the optional side impact air bags are now standard equipment.

In addition to these improvements, the upcoming 2009 Nissan Xterra also features the optional Rockford Fosgate audio system as standard equipment. Nissan is has geared the Frontier and Xterra for buyers who love the outdoors and want tough off-road machines. While many buyers are steering away from trucks and SUVs, a trend that Marlborough car loan has certainly felt, it’s a good time the Nissan introduced updates to these vehicles since buyers will only be enticed by vehicles that are fresh in design and amenities. Both the Xterra and Frontier have demonstrated solid quality and reliability according to Boston auto repair sources, but with changing consumer demands, more is needed to keep buyers excited about these truck models.
